FREE EVENT: Dana Salisbury and the No-See-Ums' Work-in-Progress "Unseen Dances"
Hmmm… The concept behind this dance performance is a very intriguing. The audience members will be blindfolded. The premise is for people to feel dance instead of watch dance. For someone that enjoys art and science, it’s a nice way of combining the two.
However, the audience members must put a ton of trust in everyone performing this to pull this off. It says that each performance is audience specific. Therefore, you’ll never “see” the same performance twice.
I can’t go to the event (i’ll be on my way from school to work). Since it’s a Work-In-Progress, hopefully I can “see” the final product. If you can go*, please tell me what you thought of it!
